About us

Adapa – Adaptive Moulds is a small company that develops and implements patented adaptive mould systems for the Construction, Marine and Energy industries worldwide. Our goal is to offer customers a complete and easily accessible integrated production solution. Our technology is a mix
of software, electronics, and mechanics all working together to provide accurate reproduction of
double-curved 3D CAD geometry.

The job

You will have great influence on your area of work, as we have several ongoing projects. Projects include a stepper motor solution for our moulds with control electronics and software, a 3D laser projector for accurate projection of 3d geometry on our moulds, mould supervisory control software on our touch panel PCs, Rhino 3D plug-in development for generating mould data from 3d geometry, and more.

You will join the electronics and software team which currently consists of one full-time employee, and one student assistant.

You will be part of a small, dedicated, young team, which handles new development in a dynamic business every day and gets a great satisfaction from inventing, developing and designing unique and innovative solutions.


The candidate we are looking for will have experience within more of the following areas:

– PCB design and layout. Especially for MCUs, high-resolution D/A converters, A/D converters, relays, and digital communications.
– Experience with ARM Cortex-M MCUs and/or Ateml AVR MCUs.
– Embedded software development in C and/or C++.
– Object Oriented Programming.
– C# and WinForms development.
– Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Rhino3D.

It is preferable that you have a strong mathematical background, and have finished at the top of your class at university.

It is important that you are self-driven and can handle tasks on your own, that you can take responsibility for your work, and that you are a team player.

**Architect Intern Position

ADAPA is currently seeking for creative and talented hands.

Responsibilities will during the employment range from the research and development of custom computational designs, advanced modeling in Rhino, material research and testing, to large-scale physical constructions. Rhino modeling skills, Grasshopper skills required (Kangaroo/Rhino scripting/C# knowledge is a plus, but not necessary as possibility of training).

Minimum duration of 6 months. Monthly salary 800 Euro. Paid lunch.
